What is Self Storage?
You have control over what is stored inside your storage unit. As a renter, your rights are protected through a lease rental agreement. We rent secure drive up outdoor storage units (garage door style) for business and personal use.
Do you have outside storage for boats or a Semi-Truck?
We DO NOT provide outdoor parking/storage for boats, bikes/motorcycles, semi-trucks or trailers.
Who rents Self Storage?
Business clients include professional services, commercial and retail businesses and contractors. Our individual users include storage of household goods, automobile's, boats or motorcycle owners storing their vehicles over Wisconsin's winter months, students needing storage for the summer and apartment dwellers or homeowners just needing some extra space for seasonal items.
Do you have electricity or lights inside the units and if so is that included?
No. We DO NOT provide any electricity or lighting inside of the units. There is lighting installed on the outside of the structure just above the doors. However not every unit has an individual light. Most storage renters use their vehicle headlights when they are moving for the short time they are in the dark.
How can I rent a storage unit?
Contact Suter's Self Storage Today! We will provide you with current unit availability. You can review the rental agreement. Your first month's rent and security deposit MUST be included when the rental agreement is signed. A government issued photo ID is required.
What size storage units do you have and how much does storage costs?

When and how do I make payments?
Your rent must always be paid on the 1st of the month otherwise it is concidered late. You can pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. You can pay by debit or credit card. You can mail us a check or money order.

Are my items insured?
No, We do not provide insurance for the items in your storage unit. 3rd part insurance IS available at extra cost. Your homeowners or renters insurance may cover items inside of self storage. Please check your insurance policy, or with your insurance agent to be certain of what is or is not covered.
Are the storage units dry?
Yes. Each building is designed to keep rain and surface water away from the storage units. We've taken extra precautions to keep your items dry. Storage unit floors are specifically engineered to prevent water from entering under the storage unit doors.
How long can I stay and is there a minimum?
No, There is no maximum rental period. The minimum rental period is 3 months. Our rental agreement is based on a month to month, 6 months (Bi-Annual) or 12 month (Annual) time frame.

Do you go into a building to access the storage units?
No, All our non-climate-controlled storage units are accessible without going into a building with immediate drive-up access!
Can I change to a different size storage unit?
Yes. When your needs change, we'll make every effort to facilitate your move to a different size unit.
Are there any items that I cannot store?
Yes. You can not store food, perishable items, animals/pets, flammables, explosives, hazardous wastes, etc. Our lease agreement describes these restrictions in more detail.
